I am also in the mine/caverns. I think my game may have a glitch. I retrieve the horse and take her back to her owner. He offers to sell me dynamite for $80. I buy it, and then the exclamation point is still above his head like he wants to talk to me. But then when I click it again, his dialogue box is empty and all I can do is press ok. I have no further option to buy dynamite and I can't repair the general store. Am I missing something? I have restarted the quest several times and twice I was able to buy 2 sticks of dynamite, but then it went back to the blank box. It doesn't seem right based on the quest that I can't get more than 2 sticks of dynamite. I don't want to keep going in my town if I have to redownload. Thanks!

Did you use the dynamite before you tried to buy more? You're not supposed to be able to repair the store and the exclamation point will stay over his head, but I think you have to look at the grave before it will let you do anything else. Maybe you don't have enough gold to buy any more dynamite so the dialog isn't there. Try collecting more gold from the other rooms and try again.

Does anyone know how to unlock the sheep or get the other 2 "secret" awards? I figured out one of them was for building enough flower pots to unlock bee hives.

Sheep- build all 3 farms with 3 different produce 3 ranches w/3 different animals...wild horse in NE enterance-lead horse to the water well-remember you can lead the horse to water but you cant make him drink...when he does then a pop up will show you for wild life round up...complete this and you will get sheep.
Please help me out I cant get the stupid gold mine...when you are underground...it says to search all caverns i did still nothing...

Oh, don't forget to blast into the SE chamber and shoot the bandits there in order to get back out of the mine.

Ok, here's the deal on the cave: take the horse in the NW cave back to it's owner, don't pay for it just go in after it and shoot all the bandits. Return it to the guy in front of the general store in the SW corner. Buy 2 kegs of dynamite from him and blast the fence blocking the chamber with the grave and the water in it. Go in and read the grave and it tells you to look at the big rock in the chamber to the West, go in and blast that white rock with the other keg of dynamite and viola, mission accomplished. There are other things to discover in the other caves too if you look and blast your way in when you have to.

Thanks for the help on the sheep. I honestly don't remember what I did with the mine. When you get to the end there are bad guys to beat but other than checking out everything in each chamber I don't remember much. Do you have any idea what the other 2 "unknown" awards are for or how to get them?

I can't get the lumber camp to work. I have 2 people working at it and icon you click for the status says 'normal' (I take to mean it doesn't need anything) but the lumber mill is not producing any wood. (actually it looks like it it is producing, but it's not going into the town wood suply.
Any ideas?

the lumber mill doesn't add to your town wood supply, it just allows you to build more advanced things like bridges and hotels that need higher quality lumber

The lumber mill is probably working. However, the wood does not go into the wood supply but is use for making bridges etc.

Be patient, I built my town with only 8 people, 1 farm, 1 nice sheriff, 1 saloon, 1 barbershop, 1 mine , I went through several wood huts and lots and lots of wells and water towers as they count toward the 25 buildings, be sure to fortify (bought from the store) your buildings, good luck.
