I bought Escape from Paradise and am not doing very good (I'm not a gamer and at this rate may never be one!). I can't figure out how to get the 5000 wood for a challenge. I am limited to 4050 pieces of wood. How do I increase the number of wood I can cut down? I have "people" cutting wood, but everything stops at 4050 pieces.

after you do the fire walk game, fish in the little pool there. The radio part is there. The people on the other side of the rocks are in the village you started in.
to get the red x you just have to click on the hut when u have it then click on the red x to delete if u make a mistake and put red x on wrong hut just click away from the hut and x will dissapear

ok...if you want to find the 4th and 9th piece heres how to do it. First the 4th, its beside the dinner in one of the trees...get a lumberjack to start cutting down the tree and you'll find it....and the 9th one you need 2 level 3 providers, lumberjacks and carpenters (and they must be both a boy and a girl for each)....hope that helps
I found it up near the second waterhole/well. Just before you get to the water, there's some trees. I dragged my character across the grass at the farthest right area of grass and a shovel appeared. You dig there.
You must have a skilled player of at least level 2. Take them up to the tiki in any area that does not display the talk symbol. When I did this it did not seem to have any effect, but when I checked the progress screen it showed that the task had been completed. I hope this helps you.
I have built, deleted and rebuilt the fishing docks about 4 times now, but on the progress screen it still shows the task as not completed. Does anyone have any clues that I might be missing. Also, I can see the red tiki and the red stones that block my way to the last part of the map. What do I need to do to get that part to open up for me? You have to play the game Aces High in order to get the spear. It'll appear on your map screen ... (escape progress button in the lower right hand of your screen) when it is time.
The well must be build over and existing water hole. Just select build and choose the well then take a villager to the water hole and they will begin to build a well. Hope that helps. I love this game!

Got through the puzzles in about 6 hours very addicting... still missing the last 3 pieces of the puzzle... something with the 3 statues... some type of catching the nig catch and the final puzzle in the circle.. any one can help?
Hi, you have to have two of your most accomplished people to go and activate the three statues just by clicking on them then one eye ball lights up for each person. The crab circle needs your entire tribe to open it, just highlight everyone and click on the crab circle and they will stay where they are but question marks will come above their heads and when you have all of them, the crab opens and reveals a radio part, have only been playing a few hours , but I can't seem to find the last one which is the big catch in a corner....
the statues will light up if you select a group of people and have them look at the statues. you need 6 radio pieces to get all the eyes to light up. and for the round sun piece you need 30 villagers, select them ALL and have them All go over to the sun thing. then you can get that piece.. so there is how you get those two pieces.. and there is also another little statue and I had to use the the character that has all the skill points. I had her stare at him and she finds a piece in the statues mouth, 2 pieces can be found while fishing (one in the lake and one in the pond. one is found while digging and there is one by the boat when you play the cross word puzzle.. those are the only ones I have found so far.. if I missed any please e-mail me at Brenahollie@yahoo.com cause I am stuck
