I had the same problem with the baby bottle, you may be clicking on the dresser instead of the actual warmer.
What are the 'house upgrades' and how do I get them? All I've been upgraded to is a coffee maker, which works GREAT.
Hints: Pick up all the laundry and do it all at once...keep wired, drink LOADS of coffee...keep the family waiting for food and clean up while they're waiting, if dad's not around he will come home and mess things up but it's better than having them ALL run around, especially when you have 2 kids and 2 toddlers.
Problem with baby bottles: in recent levels something seems to crash when I try to warm a bottle...i get the bottle from the little fridge, click on the warmer and don't get the timer, like nothing happens. If i click on the warmer again I pick up a bottle but the baby won't take it and I end up carrying it around the house...

1. Gather as much laundry for one big load.
2. Perform tasks while washing and drying laundry.
3. Keep refueling on coffee to keep your adrenaline up.
4. Clean an entire room before moving on 5. Only move on to nearby messes, don't cross the house, it wastes time.
6. Learn the children's' messy habits and you'll know where the next mess will be.
7. Have a baby bottle pre-warmed and ready to go at all times.
8. If you play as the dad, he won't mess up your perfect time by changing his clothes at the last second.
When the family go to the kitchen for a meal, don't rush to serve them! Make them wait for the meal and clear the house. I start the meal and then do some clearing. Works especially well if Dad is around! If he's out you can guarantee he'll come back and mess up your clean floor!
If you continuely put more food on the table they will just stay sitting their eating while you finish the cleaning and if you put the milk bottle on the warmer when you start the level it makes it ready when ever you want it.
1 - pick up all the laundry in one go, you save time and energy by doing this.
2 - try to finish all the work quickly, the longer you delay, more work you have to do.

This sounds stupid but...how do the comments rank? "Super Day" = best result, "Beautiful Day" = not so bad result?

Silly, comments don't have a rank, they are sorted by creation time.

I am not sure how to play as the dad, but if you are missing a mess, check the mailbox just outside the house.
