I have completed 15 puzzles but I didn't put a totem in the centre of the uncovered ruis and now I can find the last piece of the gong.. what should I do?

I play on my iPhone I noticed that items sill appear and dissapear from the map when the game is on paused speed. You can drag and drop multiple kids on items if you find the item while the game is paused. You cannot pause the game when you find an item or it will dissapear. So you can pause the game and go back to the play screen and wait for a rare or uncommon item to appear. Then drag all the kids over. It's the only way it works on the iPhone that I know of.

My villager lost the Cauldron- got Exploration lvl 2, he went to get the cauldron, carrying back to the fire then it disappeared... nothing by the fire, or anywhere... what can I do???

the mirror is an island event, not something you can find. When you do one of the buttons will duplicate the villager, the other one will brake the mirror

I need help with the scarecrow thing. I put an adept builder up there and all it says is "confused." I have the 2nd level of construction so I dont understand what is wrong. I also have already built the dam...

It's not an adept builder you need it's an adept farmer (or master!). I hope this helps.
BTW- you need to put the villager on the vines twice to complete it.

After completing the gong, I noticed that when I move the totems around on the ancient mosaic, collectible items will appear...I haven't quite figured out where or how to move them or if there is some logic to it...but I just thought I'd share and see if anybody else has experienced this.

I have both level 3 exploration and engineering but every time I drag a villager to the ancient floor it just says more research needed! I've tried with all my adults including master scientists but they stillwont uncover the mosiac!

Okay. So like I finished all the puzzles expect for the last gong piece. the mosaic is cleared and everything. I put the totem in the middle. and nothing happens. I have like 5 totem poles now and nothing is happening. This is the only thing I have left to do in the game other than collect the collectibles. What do I do?

Keep picking up the totem poles and dropping them in the middle of the mosaic- i play on my iphone and I find its very hard to find the right spot, but if you do it, another gong piece should reappear. you might have to try lifting the totem up again b/c the piece might be underneath. I've played this game through a few times (except I still can't seem to get all the collectibles) and the same thing has happened to me- just keep trying!

Okay, so make a stew with three of the red flowers near the dam, and then make your trainee builders and children eat it. After they're done run around or swimming or lifting rock and stuff, they have a chance of increasing their building skills, even the children! Now I have 3 apprentice builders (not trainees, apprentices are children that have a lot of skill in a category)!

if your villagers keep dieng then try this: build up your fire and dam as soon as you can. then the little pond drains and reveals the ancient area. it side tracks, in a way, and waters the dry soil. this is the irrigated, i think thats the word, part. then you can drag your farmers to the patch of soil and they'll keep sowing seeds and watering the crops. then they'll collect them. collect coconuts but make sure you savour them coz they don't last 4ever. keep fishing and find sites with the cheats to get the algae tips. build a scare crow to keep the birds off. look around at the comments on how to build it.

Actually if you wait the coconuts will come back. i left them for 2 days and i had 200+ when i came back. Also get the ocean clean as soon as possible because every time you harvest vegetables it takes longer to regenerate. Mine now takes 42131 minutes.

I am playing this on my iPod touch. tried to pause the game when an item appears so that I can drag multiple children on it. Tried it twice but whenever I do that, the item disappears after I pause the game! Does it not work on ipods?

what happen after all the puzzles are solved? I solved all the puzzle before I upgraded 3rth level Exploration and Science,I see some other parts of the village on the map(behind the vines, further out the ocean, and behind the cave). Can I really expand the other parts of the village?

When you first start the game you should make everyone fish in the ocean that way you will have as much food as possible before the algae appears, then start wracking up the tech points until you can buy Farming 2. You should only have one person gather the coconuts. Get engineering next so you can build the dam and plant crops. Don't forget the scare crow and have everyone gather the crops so the next batch will come in faster.
After that you should get the science 2 its worth it since so much time must be devoted to research. Also, once you get culture 2 you can make the exercise stew, (5, 5, 6) and give it to the children (or anyone) to up their building skill. If they shake their head while exercising you have to send them beck to eat.
You can also get a young healer started by making a sick stew (4, 4, any, but NOT 4, 4, 4 cuz it will kill them)and having one child heal whoever eats it.

You need to buy the third level of farming. Then you drag your villagers to the small lake and they'll pick up the algea eating fish and put them in the ocean. You have to bring a bunch of your villagers (I forget how many) to the lake to grab the fish. They need to bring them over in a group or it says that there aren't enough.

I would ALWAYS test the stews on a child, if the child dies you aren't out all the work. I would hate to lose one of the masters. I liked the tip about making some sick and having kids heal them. The kids get a head start on becoming a master before they are even old enough to work.

I am playing on my iphone. I have 40 villagers and have completed all the puzzles and have all the collections except 1 butterfly. I know I should be able to have more villagers, but there is no housing for them. Have I missed something. Will ringing the gong eventually build a house?

I have the same problem. I somehow have 41 villagers on my iphone game- I think some just arrived on a raft one day or something. Anyway, as far as I know the gong hasn't built a house for me yet- I've played the game through a few times and ringing the gong only seems to grant food, tech points, or health, or it takes them away. I am having trouble finding all the collections as well. Maybe once you find the missing butterfly something will happen... good luck!

I have the I-pod touch (same app though) You can't get over 40, it just won't let you. The app only has enough room for 40 vilagers.I hope they make an update soon for more people. I hope that helped.

Place a totem dead center in the mosaic. It might tale a few times before you get the message about the gong piece. I haven't noticed the gong do anything yet but at least it is whole...

hi!!! just want to tell you about a stew i discovered. the stew 4+3+4 makes everyone sick. this helps because it can make a healer handy. i suggest you cure them by using the kids. since kids can be doctors, earning this skill can get them a headstart.

Answers to pop-ups
1)If someone gets a gold button don't give it to the scientists! Let him keep it-you get level 2 culture (I'm not sure if you can get level 3)
2)If a large, stained burlap bag washes up on shore, don't open it! It's filled with ants that will sting your villager. 3)If a large, carefully sealed sack washes up, open it! I'm not sure what it does, but it's good!
4)If your villager finds a fragrant liquid in a bottle, pour it out! Your villager will loose a lot of skill if he/she drinks it!
5)If it's a orange liquid in a bottle drink it! Your villager will become a MASTER at something!!
6) If someone asks to work alone at the research table, but doesn't say why, don't let him do it! He's not part of your tribe and will sabataoge your reseach and take away many tech points!
7)If your villager thinks she's the prettiest remind her looks aren't everything.She will not be sure if she's prettiest, but children will like her extra, and she'll gain parenting skill.
8)If you find seeds around a dead plant don't plant them, they will kill all of the plants around them, if your villager eats them, I'm not sure what will happen, but I think it's good!
9) If a kid villager builds amazing towers with blocks, don't let her apprentice. She will get bored and go back to playing with her blocks.
If you have any more answers to pop-ups just add more. Those are all of the one's I know.

I figured out some more:
1) If your villager sees a shooting star in the sky, if you wish for the village, you get about 5,000 tech points or something like that.
2) If your villager finds a big pearl, bigger than the common or usual ones, don't show the other villagers. They will fight over it and knock down the research table and you will lose a lot of tech points!

i have many of that sittuation if one of your villager have night mare its not trully a night mare because i read it carefully so i dont wake him up and i get a free level three exploration because he dream what is the true isola is what and many beetles i see at 1st even 1 i cant see a beetle
another one when youre villager is seek and when you have realise that any healer cant heal him wait a minute and their will be a pop up that youre villager find a medicine give it too yore villager or give it too a scientist choose give it because that is a poison and you will get 5000 tech points for that and dont worry your villager now can heal by a healer when that sittuation come

My earlier tribe all died when I cleared the thorns. I wasn't on for about 5 minutes and they had enough food, a fire burning and no one was sick. A note showed up, but it didn't tell me why everyone died. I had to start over and my current tribe is getting close to clearing the thorns again. I hope they all don't die again, does anyone know how to make sure they don't die? Do I have to get the gong pieces in a certain order? (so far I have the one from the lake) Please help me!

I'm guessing you have algae, in the water. This is where you would fish. Well, you have to buy level 2 in Farming.
But... how do you get Tech Points?
Well, you have to get almost ALL your villagers to research. This is how you earn tech points. Since the game continues on while you're away, all the points add up gradually.

Click the parenting box for one or two of your ladies. They will populate on their own. I once clicked the parenting box for one of the boys and went away for an hour. When I came back I had 6 babies.

Ok so I have always had trouble on having a large population because the most I have ever had is 10 and currently I have 9. Are there some strategies to get a larger population. Also, I only have 3 women left (because all the children are male) and their ages are 50, 54, and 62. a comment for harrison easy guy if you have a very large population and you lock of mother they could steal get a baby a new baby girl just check the parenting box on detail screen of a girl and boy sleep well but choose 1/2 speen only overnight see they have a babyies not only baby a cheat for girl baby u want click the mother when they are inside the hat of parenting click 3 then see a girl boy is 2 and when yore population is overgrow i doesn't have a tip only restart it and dont make baby when one of your baby is 14 make a baby again so your population grow but baby is 2 do it again and again and again easy just when your food is 200 and below add a villager to get food and everyone i complete my food if you get once 600 food no villager will worry now now i have 156834 food supply and i have 501674 tech points because i played this game 3 months later but i cant make a golden child so help me anyone what did i need to do so i can put a nursing child in the pond

You need to set all of your villagers to prefer parenting, then let the game sit over night and you should have a much larger population when you check it next. I've completed all the puzzles now and I'm bored of the game... I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Go to tech and select food 2 upgrade for coconuts and then building 2 upgrade for crops. Once you get 20,000 points upgrade health or your villagers will die young.
Do not spend any more tech points until you have enough to upgrade to level 3 farming. Food is an issue early on in this game. I lost 3 tribes before I got it right. Time cheating before you have level 3 farming will kill your tribe. It will make your crops take a really long time to grow and you will run out of food.
Make sure to always have at least 3-4 kids as you can pause the game and put all of the kids on one item or mushroom for extra food and tech points.
Now if you did do time travel and are running out of food. It is possible to save your tribe but it wont be easy!!! You will need children, a decent amount of tech points, medicine, food, health and exploration will have to be at least level 2 to make this work.
Do not leave the game unattened. Or you will lose your tribe. I lost 3 tribes time cheating and then didnt time cheat at all on my fourth try until I started getting really antsy. I seemed to have enough food but there was a flood and I lost all but 500 food. My crops were at 600 minutes on 2 x speed.
I put every single adult on research. and kept watching for mushrooms and items to place all the kids on. Any time I had to levae for more then a few minutes I paused the game. I managed to keep my food between 80 and 100 with mushrooms until I had enought tech points to fish.
Once I had about 200 food again I made a stew with 2 purple flowers and 1 orange. This restored all my villagers health. I now have half on research and half on farming until I build up enough food to last and tech points to do new things.

I really need help! Please... I've goaled all the tech point, I have 4 elder totem (3 already died,1 alive) and half of the population are master in every skill, I have opened all the puzzle except the puzzle for the last gong (The Inlaid Gong Piece). The tips said that I should "drop a totem on the mosaic in the center of the ruins" to retrieve another piece of the gong...
I have do that... but there's NOTHING HAPPENED! Do I make a mistake?? Please advise..T.T

No you are almost doing the right thing. However, do you have level 3 exploration? I think you need this to uncover the mosaic then put the totem on it. You may need to use master scientists to uncover the mosaic after you have level 3 exploration. I don't think it matters if the elder is still alive by then, just keep the totem.

Herb Mastery
This puzzle is easy to complete early in the game. Six herbs are located around the edges of the map. Each one will be identified as a "strange plant" when a villager is held over it. Have a healer examine each one of them until they master it to complete this puzzle. The location of each herb is as follows:
1.]The green plant in the upper left hanging over the wall of stones.
2.]The blue flower at the top center just to the right of the cave.
3.]The lavender daisy at the far top-right above the sacred area.
4.]The black chain of flowers just above the waterfall on the east.
5.]The bright red flowers southeast of the dam.
6.]The large orange flower to the south of the village.you pick 3 of the herbs put them in your pot ans water&food it makes it6,3,3herbs makes your little people have restored there life new

I was astonished to discover one of my villagers performing the action Rain dancing in the crop patch. He is a Master Scientist and an Adept Farmer; his other interests include laundry and papayas.

I've just noticed a behavior I didn't expect. Two of my guys picked up cutting tools, went to the edge of the ocean, and each stood there briefly until he'd speared a fish.

This is something I've never seen or heard of before, just wanted to see if anyone else has come across this: I just rang the gong for the second time, and noticed that one of my 5-yr.-olds is an apprentice parent carrying a baby! My tribe won't have anymore kids! I only have one female and five males.
They just go indoors and nothing happens! I've tried so many times! Its really annoying! I need more people in my tribe!

I just read on a different site that the version of VV2 from Logler had a bug in the game that kept you from getting the last gong piece (the piece from the mosaic). Logler has fixed the problem if you download it now, but you will lose your saved villages.

Can anyone tell me why the last piece of the gong does not appear? I have the totem i uncovered the mosaic and i have all the techs and the other puzzels done already but when i drag the totem to the center of the mosaic nothing happens? I tried multyple times to do so...

If you get a random event in which one of your villagers thinks they are the fastest runner, don't let everyone race. He hurts his ankle and even though he's young (28 on my game) he slows down to the pace of an elderly villager.

I've been playing the game for about a week now, and I have a villager who simply refuses to work.
It's a female, if that helps,I tried making her a builder, a farmer, a parent, now she's a healer, and no matter how many times I drag her to a plant, she'll study it, and then go cool her feet in the stream or something.
It's very annoying and I have no clue what to do.

I had that same problem on my old tribe. She was a healer/researcher and would always walk away and do something else-I had to watch her to make sure she was doing her job. I have no idea how to fix a problem like that. Just wanted to let you know you aren't alone.

hi i own the game and have hadd millions of tribes but everyone have died of hunger and old age i never have enough tech points or food my population is always around 15 to 20 but i need help does anyone have any cheat codes or advice i would really appreciate it

Currently my tribe is at 14, so not as high as yours but i have a few suggestions that might or might not help you depending on what you know.
I would suggest keeping your population little, in the beginning about 10 people if that. Don`t forget theres always the coconut tree. Also once you finish the dam puzzle you can plant crops. As for tech points just always have someone there working. I hope this helps.

My village is up to 84 people. The thing that has helped me the most is you have to build the dam and plant crops. to do so you have to buy the food tech points and then the engenering one. I also if my villagers are at a crucial point I will pause teh game until I can get back to it so that they dont die without me

Can the villagers have triplets? One of my villagers got pregnant, that child grew and poof another child appeared in her arms. Same thing happened again, but i didn't have her mate more than once. Also does anyone have any tips on getting tech points faster?

I havn't had triplets yet but I have had twins and they carry two babies. You have to by the science tech (middle on the right) and it helps you to earn points faster. Also if you have a master researcher or a adept one they earn points faster.

I have finished the game, but I kept going collecting totum poles and now I have 50 totum poles. Now it seems that that is all I can collect as my esteemed elders haven't made any more totums. Has anyone else done this and found this to be all one can collect?

I got the last piece of Gong and someone was walking it to the shrine at the same time I put someone by the wall to read it. Dumb me the Gong disapeared. Is there anyway to get it back. I already tried putting the totem in the middle and nothing happens.

Couple things I have noticed is that everywhere I see people telling others that when you hear a chime noise, an object has appeared on the island. I find that that isn't ever the case on my game. Another would be that I also see people telling others that you can pause the game and put a couple kids on objects to get lots of the same object cuz all the kids picked it up. It's never worked for me. Not with two kids. Not with all the kids. Never. Why is it these work for everyone but me?

Did you buy the third level on farming? Or do you not have enough tech points? If you don't have either one, then start over and make sure you make a villager or two do reaseaching!

When you're almost or out of food, pause the game and wait for a mushroom to appear then put (one of your) kid(s) on the mushroom and unpause to collect it, when it's added to your food supply pause again and repeat. It really takes a while before you have enough to save them all but it worked for me. I couldn't put more than one kid on it but later in the game it did work for collectibles so maybe it could have worked on mushrooms to.

Puzzle #7 - Remove the algae in the ocean caused by over fishing. After achieving Farming Tech Level 3, take a Master Farmer or Master Scientist to the pond where they will gather algae eating fish used to re-populate the ocean. You will have unrestricted fishing when enough fish are returned to the sea.

I have repeatedly put my master farmer and scientist in the water after reaching level 3 in farming. They both just shake their heads and are digusted with the algae. Am I missing something?

they have to collect the algae eating fish from the pool on the right hand side. you will need a few trips to get enough fish in the sea! hope this helps

Hi there, what you need to do is put your villagers {master farmer} into the pond/lake where the waterfall is, you will need to do this a few times before it is successfull - The master farmer will walk back and forth from the pond to the occean with the algie eating fish

You need to drag your master scientist and or master farmer to the lagoon and they will get algae eating fish out of the lagoon and bring them to the ocean, it may take a couple times putting them in the lagoon but they will get it.

They'll never go indoors just for the fun of it. I've learned that they don't really need to go indoors. Just drop them together enough times repeatedingly and a baby just pops up in the female's arms. The elders can have children too. Hope this helps. :]

I can't get my master scientist to get algea eating fish out the pond. My ocean is full of algea and my people are almost starving because there aren't enough mushrooms and coconuts. Everytime i put my master scientist int he pond, he's just "enjoying the pond". HELP!

try using a master famer thats who i used and worked well but u have 2 keep sending them back in it is quicker if u use 2 master farmers
