Starting on the 3rd bonus levels the squares will not turn gold. No one, including the game manufacturer seems to know why.

I am on level 1-23 and am stuck with a HARD puzzle. What is a special move and how do you save them for hard puzzle moves. I have almost 500 lives saved up and have been playing this one puzzle for about 1 week now for hours on end. Please help!

I have got through the secret qusetion stage and Im on level 3 of 4 - I can complete the board but there is a single tile in the right bottom corner - how do i turn this - nothing I do seems to work - any ideas please ????

I am on level 4- of jewel quest2. I am turning all the squares yellow (even the blanks) and it won't win for me. I have tried dropping tiles to fill the blanks and that doesn't let me win either. I had this problem with the level before too, and I don't know what I did to finally win the level. I am double checking all the tiles with time left and I don't know what else to do while the time is ticking away. Can anyone help?

Which level of 4 (4-1;4-2;etc) and which section (Back to Africa,Hani,etc) I'll try it again on my computer and see if I can help out.

The tournament mode is a waste of time, seems to be a matter of luck, internet connection and is either incompetently designed or rigged.
Tonight I found that the games must be stored because one of my opponents was MYSELF. It was one of my first games and it beat me and I know I was slow when I did that one. Figure that! Secondly, twice, I beat the other person out of the first part and had more silver coins and they still won. I wrote the Jewel Quest people about that one. I love the other mode but I am not wasting my time with the Tournament Mode anymore.

So I've beat this game 3 times & even won several "Super Hard" levels. (Sad to see your coins don't carry over into that level)also sad the game only gives you 20 lives & 99 coins...
Now I'm trying tournament mode! Please tell me how there's someone playing when you are all the time & how one can be way ahead & then the other person always wins.I've only won several games out of many. Any hints? I know I'm good at the Quest mode, but this other thing...yikes!

On super hard #3, level 1-1, I cannot turn the tiles gold. Do you think it is a glitch, or am I missing something? HELP-I love the game and want to finish it.

The same thing happened to me. I have tried everything to determine if this is a game flaw or was designed this way. I even bought a new copy of the game. I am at a standstill.

I was beginning to wonder if I was a terrible player. I've played about 200 games and have only won 17 times. I always seem to lose by around 1,800 points. What, pray tell, am I doing wrong.

Tournament Mode:
After months of research, I have found the following: There are no true tips or tricks to this game. It is about 20% skill 20% luck, and the rest is all in your computer, and Internet connection.
It matters not what your rating is, or skill, the majority is luck, speed of mouse and computer, and connection speed. This game is truly a hair puller, and can drive one to swear out loud. Nut once you accept the fact that it is just a game, you can have a lot of fun with it, especially with the ones that always win. When I start a game and notice that my opponent went from 1,000 points behind, to 2500 points ahead, I just stop relax and watch. I can only assume that the one I am playing notices this and it takes all the fun out of it for them. Sometimes I just hit "Menu" and
"end this match" that must really get them! Now get out there and have fun!

I made it as far as Sabastians Story and dueto weather I had to reset my modem. To my surprise the game was reset as well!!! How very distressing!!
Is there some magical way to restore where I was BEFORE the boot?????

One more thing. save the power-ups for later levels. Mostly Grenard, Hanai(I think it spelled right) and Back to Africa levels. By the time I get to these levels I have 99 power-ups and I use them sparingly in Grenard's Level. You can get through Rupert's and Emma's level pretty easy but save the power-ups. Also use the replay if your stuck. It really is a fun and addictive game.

Hi Judy: I've been stuck and playing level 1-3 for about three months and still cannot pass to next level. I'm hooked on this game but its driving me crazzy! I have to say tha I have played the whole game once, from beginning to end and got stuck at the same level. helpppppp

Hi Sarah, Try & collect coins, as many as possible to get thru. I'm sure you did it anyway by now. the trick to getting past all the levels with out dying is to get coins & lives you will need almost all 99 coins to get thru the last levels.

As the guy before you wrote start at the bottom and keep working till you clear the board, also get the coins on one side of the board. Put them out of your way so you can work the rest of the board. I have won the game about 5 times and I've only played 7 times. The first two time I didn't know what I was doing. When you have won the game several times (not sure how many) there is a bonus round called super hard and it is. It is the regular rounds with one jewel added making it harder to win. Basically just keep playing until you figure out a routine that works for you. I will comment more on the bonus rounds as I play them.

there must be a trick that i don't know about to get big point scores on the silver coin bonus screen. i have played 7 or 8 hundred games and only won 6. how embarrasing, someone please respond with the clue, i a
m getting so frustrated!!!!!! i only score 4 or 5 hundrd points on the silver coins and every opponent i have racks up 12 - 18 hundred----every last one!!! i don't get it. PLEASE HELP

I have accummulated several "special moves" but can't figure out how to use them. I have the DS version - is there a trick besides just tapping the "L" and hoping for the best? Getting the special move that way doesn't work!

I play the tournament and win about 75% of the time. I consistantly beat the average and have had the daily high score several times, so I'd say to those of you that think it's rigged you just need to practice until you actually can play the game.

The tournament mode is a complete and utter RIP-OFF. I think the game randomly "hijacks" user games in order to throw the players off. It is completely fixed. I could be doubled up on my opponent, get to the bonus round and the board gives me NO coins! So the guy I am beating suddenly "wins" out of nowhere. And this "No More Moves" bullcrap? I don't think so. I get to the high 900's in rating, and then--as usual and always predictable--I start my slow descent because the game won't let me win--it has NOTHING to do with the players. Buyer beware...this game is rigged.

This is true!! I have a rating of 1240, and play someone with a rating of 100 and get 2,000 ahead one minute, and the next I am 2,000 behind. Once I completed the board way ahead of my opponent, and went into the bonus raound and accumulated 80 silver and they still won. How is this possible? There has got to be some special over ride program that they are using.

I found that getting as many specials as possible really helps. I've already played the game through in its entirety and started over again. I just began "Brenard's Revenge" (the one with the monkeys and where you have to match the squares twice). I have 99 specials and discovered to my dismay that the game only goes up to allowing you 99 specials. Bummer.

The best stratagy I've come up with so far is to work from the bottom up as much as you can. By the time you run out of moves, the top is almost completed!

Don't have a strategy, but the tournament masters have a trick. I have got to find out what it is. They are rated at 100, and I at 1200, and they beat the pants off me. How is that possible? Or is it the lower rating of 100 that is more highly skilled than the higher numbers?
