Nertz Solitaire Tips and Tricks (by Freeze Tag, Inc)
The following tips and tricks will help you improve your scores when playing Nertz Solitaire.
1. Use your Build Piles to move cards around. You might think you don't have any moves left, but many times some clever re-arranging of your Build Piles will free up cards and open up new plays.
2. Double clicking on a card which can be played on a Score Pile will automatically play that card. If you think you are stuck, double click cards and playable cards will move to the Score Pile automatically.
3. Keep an eye on your opponents. You can block their moves. You may want to hold back playing a card if you see it is going to allow your opponent to make an easy play from his or her Nertz Deck. Or you may want to save a card that is the same as your opponent's top Nertz Deck card so you can beat them when the time comes to play that card on a Score Pile.
4. Once you get the hang of playing, click through your Dealer Deck quickly to look for easy plays. You can click through your deck and shuffle as many times as you want.
5. Once you've played through your Nertz Deck, take a second to look at your opponents' Nertz Decks. You can continue playing on Score Piles to earn more points, or you can call Nertz'. It may be better to call Nertz' right away if you can catch your opponents with a lot of cards in their Nertz Decks. They will lose 2000 points for each card. Or it may be better to wait to call Nertz after you have played more cards on the Score Piles.
